Lescott is currently preparing for England's Euro 2012 qualifier with Bulgaria in Sofia on Friday but the pre-match focus was inevitably on City - and Dzeko - after their flying start.
Roberto Mancini's side have won their opening three league games and Dzeko has weighed in with six goals after a disappointing introduction following his £27million January move from Wolfsburg.
Lescott, who helped City demolish Tottenham 5-1 on Sunday, said: "To win the league, that has to be the aim. We feel we can win every game that we play.
"That's not going to happen but we feel, if we can win the majority of games, then we'll do well come the end of the season.
"It's only the early part of the season. We know we've still got a long way to go. There will be games we don't play as well, and we will lose games, but we've got a fantastic squad."
